Bush Reviews His Still-To-Do List,
Threatens Lots More ‘Work’ Before Departing

That’s OK, Mr. President. Really it is. I mean, you’re been working awfully hard these past eight years. Why don’t you just go clear some brush, or take a l-o-n-g nap, or whatever it is you do in Crawford, Texas?

Apparently Bush lately has been telling people privately that the nation is fortunate that he is in charge during this current economic meltdown. No word yet on whether he has connected the dots between the crisis and his trickle-down economic policies and hands-off regulatory philosophy.
